VILLA STRAUSSI, Maldives – A villa meant for five generations is now being converted into a house.
The former villa was the largest in the Maldives.
A small part of the site was used for a private clinic.
Now the owners are selling the site for $400,000.
The family of four bought it in 2016 for $1.3 million.
The villa has no electricity, and there is a leak in the roof.
The owners of the home said they have decided to buy the property, which has been neglected, for the new owners.
They have already spent $50,000 renovating it and installing plumbing.
The villa is now called the Villa Strasmidis and the owners have named the house after the old woman.
They also have a statue of the old lady in front of the villa and a sign that says: “Villa Strasmicis, a villa in the village of Strasmids.
The village is located in the South Indian Ocean and is located on the south coast of the Maldive island of Reunion.
